There are some very creative party ideas for baby shower party decorations and themes. These themes can begin right at the baby announcements through to the birth announcements and on the shower invitations.Have a theme can make the shower seem more organized and streamline preparations. Here are some party theme recommendations from experienced baby shower planners:
Tea party - Make fresh flower centerpieces for the tables, set a tea place at each place at the dining table and include small teapots, plates, and cups. Cover the tables with fancy tablecloths and offer a menu with assorted teas and scones.
Star of the show - Make the cake like a star on the Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard and write something on it like "a star will be born" or something similar, or maybe even the baby's name if it's already been picked out. Lay out a red carpet in the hall and as each guest arrives and walks down the red carpet, videotape the "stars"! Let each guest give a special message to the mom-to-be. Give the guest of honor the video and let her add other special moments.
